I see a new report has been published regarding PINK1 which seems to be a major breakthrough in PD detection perhaps in the familial arena.
Apparently this is a new finding and is not related to the Cambridge “breakthrough” in 20121.
Further reports will hopefully be positive.
That’s promising news about PINK1—any progress in early detection, especially for familial Parkinson’s, is definitely encouraging. Hoping follow-up studies continue to support these findings. Thanks for sharing!

Yes, the studies are ongoing but no other breakthrough that I was able to find as yet.
