My dad has currently got diarrhoea. He had started taking magnesium which causes diarrhoea. I stopped that about 7 days ago but hes still suffering. Does anyone have suggestions on probiotics. Do they work.

Of course, probiotics work. I had frequent diarrhoea due to my Irritable Bowel Syndrome and since I started on probiotics, my life is different!
In case you are interested, I usually take Align (the first on the attached list of probiotics for gut health. Bacillus coagulans is very a common in the states.
