Putting socks on

Hi All. Over the last couple of months I’ve been having trouble putting my socks on. Does anyone else have this problem?

Google “Sock aid”, “Sock helper”. There are some clever and some very expensive solutions to your problem. :sunglasses:

I have had this problem almost since diagnosis 13 years ago. I notice that the problem is far worse with socks that haven’t been worn since washing than with reused ones. My approach to getting my socks on is:

  • wear short socks, ankle socks;
  • before trying to put them on I put my fist into the sock and stretch it in all ways.
