I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s about 4 years ago. I have been my partner’s carer for the last 17 years He has a spinal injury and limited mobility. Interested to know if there are other PWP who are also carers.
Hello, Firstly I’m sorry to hear that you have to be a carer whilst managing Parkinson’s.
I’m a pwp who cares for my sister who has Multi Systems Atrophy. Her diagnosis came before mine (my pd diagnosis is in the last 6months and is at quite a manageable stage) and her condition has now made her unable walk and do basic daily things.
