I'm excited to tell you that after many weeks of research, development and planning, we’ve finally launched our public awareness campaign today! Adverts will appear on billboards and in newspapers across the UK, featuring everyday activities which people with Parkinson’s have told us can become difficult.
You can read more about it on the homepage http://www.parkinsons.org.uk where you can:
• Read our news story
• Read the stories of people with Parkinson’s that are helping to give the public ‘the full picture’ on the condition
Please continue to share your own experiences of living with Parkinson’s here, on Facebook or Twitter to add your voice to the campaign. Let us know if you’ve spotted the ads and how you think they will help to increase public understanding of what it’s like to live with the condition.
Hi all,
Has anyone seen the awareness campaign adverts yet? They have appeared in the Metro and the Daily Telegraph.
There's also lots of conversation about it over on Twitter http://www.twitter.com/parkinsonsuk and Facebook http://www.facebook.com/parkinsonsuk including pictures of the advert.
Let us know if you spot them!

I have not seen the adverts myself yet but I have had calls at work from friends who have spotted them on trains. Judging by their reactions it's a really effective campaign. Well done!!
