Hi all
, my hwp is really bothered at times just now with what he describes as ‘flickering eyes’. Ive just read a bit in the recent pd uk magazine about dystonia of the eye lids. Could this be the cause? Anyone else got simliar issue’s?
Eye flickering can have other causes, so it’s important for your husband to discuss this symptom with his healthcare team to get an accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment. Others in the community may also have similar experiences to share, so hearing different stories can be helpful.

Thanks rhea…he has done this and is still in hospital under assessment for many things. As the drs say, it can be easy to dismiss symptoms as all PD, when other causes may indeed be the reason… so complicated
Morning Jandc,
I do have PD and at times do have that,‘flickering eye movement’ however that occurs when my eyes are closed like when I am going to sleep.
It may be one of the precursors to PD but I really don’t think so.
I am sure your Neuro can give you more information.
