Rapid symptoms

Hi,

Is it common to have such a dramatic progression of symptoms? Was fully independent 5 years ago. She was diagnosed 3 years ago. Fully reliant on walker or wheelchair for any distance, levadopa5 x a day and slow release and entacapone.

Is this normal? Should I be seeking another.opinion. there has never been a tremor but now internal tremor.

Thanks in advance.

It can be hard to see big changes and developments in symptoms, especially if they happen quickly in someone that you love. If you’re worried, please speak to her specialist, GP or Parkinson’s nurse.

Another opinion would put your mind at rest I think. There are neurological symptoms that mimick Parkinson’s I believe.
