Red light?

I would like to know about members’ experiences with red light/near infrared treatment. Are there any reasons not to try it, perhaps with a home-made helmet as described on several sites, eg:

me too. those hats cost a lot . Did they work for you?

Made one with lots of rear bicycle lights and later had one sent from a workshop in Tasmania (?). My wife used them for 2 or 3 months without any clear result. However specialists said she probably had MSA rather than ideopathic Parkinson’s.

I got one from the Dorset Men’s Shed.
