I was diagnosed nine years ago in 2012 and in 2016 was awarded PIPs following an assessment by a healthcare company acting on the behalf of DWP. I was awarded a standard rate as I was still mobile and managing with my symptoms generally. However DWP decided to withdraw my award based on a telephone interview and my answers.
I am keen to reapply and also apply for a Blue Badge. My health has declined particularly since covid began. Has anyone got any tips as to how I can convince DWP that this disease is progressive and not everyday is a good day and that I should be seen in person and not over the phone etc

Hi @jinx and welcome to our forum. This does sound worrying, but you’re in the right place to get support from our friendly members, some of whom will have had similar experiences.
Your GP, specialist or Parkinson’s nurse could be a big help here since they will be familiar with applications and assessments. They can provide you with documentation that will support your claim. We have some very good information on this page including how to ask for a mandatory reconsideration. Please read it and see if it’s helpful.
Feel free to give our helpline a call on 0808 800 0303 since they will be happy to advise you on how to go forward with this.
Best of luck,
Janice
