Jannie my post will prob be removed as the last few have, you have personally insulted me. I am making a justified point and nothing I say affects my position in the NHS as you imply and I dont know why you should think this, the point I am making is that there are consequences to any actions that all of us take and if we should be willing to consider them not just say we are the most important and bother the rest of the people. If you ahd any idea of the no of meds that are thrown away by the NHS each daya because of repeat presscriptions that are not used for one reason or the other you ( or at least most other peopel) would be horrified. If we didnt have this waste the govt prob wouldnt have suggested the 28 day prescribing system. It is however up to the individual GP who is paid by the no of scirpts that they issue, so they have an added incentive to issue monthly prescriptions. Dejay
