I have found that volunteering for research studies is a great way to do something to help researchers to understand Parkinson's.
Newly diagnosed people are particularly attractive to studies that look for biomarkers to predict the onset of Parkinson's.
If you are over 30, newly diagnosed (2 years or less) and who have not yet started taking Parkinson's medication then you are just the sort of person who could help the Parkinson's Progression Markers Initiative
