Hi, My mum has recently been diagnosed with PD and struggles with swallowing thin liquids. I have been told about Safe Straws but other than the USA cannot find a seller for individual items only in packs of 6 etc. Can anyone recommend somewhere to look for such item in the UK?

Thanks for the reply but the type of straw I’m looking for allows only a small amount of fluid to be sucked up and thus limits the amount in the mouth aiding swallowing. I found one in USA but costs too much to ship to UK and UK suppliers only sell in multi packs.
