Sex life

AFTER HAVING A VERY ACTIVE SEX LIFE SINCE DIAGNOSES IT HAS GONE DOWNHILL....I ADMIT I HAVE LOST INTEREST...I WANT IT BACK......PLEASE TELL ME THERE IS HOPE
Most PD drugs reduce libido, with the exception of dopamine agonists, which can be bad in other areas. Also the whole diagnosis thing can be very stressful and depressing, and thus reduce libido further.

You can get into a Catch-22 situation where you take antidepressants to perk yourself up, but those tablets themselves add to the lack of interest.

Onc you've stabilised everything normally straightens itself out (Oops) :flushed: , and your GP can prescribe Viagra if required.
before i went on medication we went 8 months and no hows your father my wife said it was like taking advantage of a cripple its just how she felt having a tough time coming to terms with pd,since going on da`s and my wife hitting 40 were having something of a throwback to our youth we now have sexual contact every other night:flushed:
Ohh errr mister!! lol :flushed:I'm always paranoid that i may not be able to move and co-operate as freely with how's your father one day and try my hardest to not make it a problem while i can, hate the thought that it may become more of a one way thing! You've actually made me think and appreciate what it might be like if the scenario re dx was reversed. keep it light hearted is the key?
Happy continuing nuptuals!
