Slow release tablet

I was prescribed a slow release tablet to take at night 3 weeks ago as well as the 5 tablets I take every 3 hours.

I seem to be getting side effects of feeling sick and actually.

Ive decided to stop taking the slow release tablet over night. I cant consult my Nurse until next week.

Has anyone else just stopped taking medication, bearing in mind Ive only been taking them for 2/3 weeks.

Any comments would be appreciated.

Hi Margs1 … I stopped taking both Madopar & then Ropinirole on my own volition.
I did email my Parkinson’s nurse to say I had done it.

It is up to you to weigh up the benefits of taking the medication weighed up against the downside of the medication side effects.
