There is a charity football match on Sunday 16th September in memory of John Shepherd the ex Millwall and Brighton footballer who died recently aged 88.
He suffered in his later years with Parkinsons and his family and friends are raising money for the Parkinsons charity.
All proceeds from the charity game will go to the parkinsons charity.
Obviously a sufferer myself and having played for both clubs it is a cause close to my heart.
I also played under John, a true gentleman,at Brighton, and managed at Southwick FC.
Sunday September 16th. Old Barn Way Southwick. Kick off 1pm
