Hi everyone, this is my first time on here. I'm so confused and struggling with making the decision if now is the right time for my partner to go into the carehome. He was diagnosed 5 years ago with PD but in April 2017 he fell and broke his hip and since then Dementia has hit him big style. It was so sudden and still trying to get my head around it. He has become very demanding, shouting all night , aggressive sometimes and doesn't know me most of the time. I promised him when he was first diagnosed I would care for him at home all the time but I am really struggling. My head and everyone around me tells me to put him into the care home but my heart tells me different. Can anyone give me some advice please??
