Hi Julesb52,

Anxiety is part and parcel of PD unfortunately, however we can mitigate it to a large extent.
Basically, yes we have PD, and there is absolutely nothing we can do about that fact.
It is no use saying “this is so unfair”, and if it is, so what?
So we either lie down and die, or we say OK, lets get on with our lives.
Is there going to be a cure, perhaps.
The best thing you can do right now, is exercise.
It really slows down the process, and the endorphins make you feel a lot better.
Sorry to be so blunt but we actually have to face up to the fact and make the best of it.
And please, please do not search the internet other than reputable sites like this.
The internet is full of morons giving advice about things they know nothing about.
On the internet you can be anything you want, it is just unfortunately the vast majority choose to be total idiots.

Hello @julesb52 hope you’re doing well today. You don’t say if you have PD or not . .Stress I know it well not just as a carer boy do i suffer every day …. !
I used to drive around London and had to be on site by 08.00 am , I would leave home at 06.00 am , sit on the M4 for an hour .. just watching the clock go round and round .. my stress levels were going through the roof , as this journey on a Sunday would take 0 .30 minutes , weekdays. 1.5 to 2 hours .
Stress should not be part of the job ! An. employer should not put you under pressure they have a duty of care , stress is no good for you , you need to tell them , doesn’t matter what you manager says .. your making them look good at the expense of your health…. Take care
