I don’t know where to turn. My doctor for the elderly stated I had Parkinson’s then she said she was not sure about 6 months ago.
*now I finding it difficult to get hold of her.
My symptoms are
I have right side hand tremors at rest or at the dinner table or even driving
Very bad jerking and uncontrollable movements of arms and legs mostly right side at rest and in bed they can be very violent and fly out couple of feet. I now sleep alone, I do have sleep apnea as well and use a machine at nights.
I also get.
Cramp in my right foot in the arch most of the time
Complete body stiffness that is very bad, restricts me from doing things along with sudden pain.
Difficultly at finding the correct words at times along with bad memory.
Dropping things due weak grip, jerking or not holding tight enough.
Skins fell funny most of the time ( can’t really explain felling this ) the only thing I would say it like a smooth tight felling
Difficulty sleeping at night.
But I do fall asleep during the daytime if I am in a chair.
I Had restless leg that now controlled on the meds Pregabalin 125 mg
I have feeling of being trapped and don’t know where to turn. Also now becoming anger with myself with a felling of wanting to throw something.
I need help in understanding what going on .
Is this Parkinson’s or something else
I on 250 Madopar daily 100 am 50 late afternoon and 100 at bedtime also 4 mg nuepro patch at night 125 Pregabalin at night to help with the restless legs
1 also have to take 2 30/500 co. Codamal going to bed to help with the pain and stiffness.
You comment or advice would be appreciated.
I don’t have any faith in my consultant. I am trying see if I can get a second opinion but the gp is not being to helpful in this direction.
