Hi, I’m , 48, early-stage Parkinson’s , on Trivastal (2x/day), active & doing IF. Thinking of supplements (CoQ10, curcumin, vit C/D/B12, Mg, tyrosine…). Any risks or interactions? What really helps at this stage?
Hi, my husband takes vit D (a must I think) B12 and Omega 3. I don’t know if they do him any good to be honest. I just wanted to say he tried Lions Mane with Vit B1 and felt really quite poorly after for a while, it may just be him. Do lots of research , Id love to know if any professionals have recommended anything. If possible I would go for good quality makes as I think it can vary quite a bit.
Hi Moumou,
We recommend speaking to your healthcare professional for advice before taking supplements or making any changes to medication to ensure they are safe for you.
Best wishes

Hi there, it will be hard to say what works with supplements, as they can take a while to get in the system. They are all good ones to take that you mentioned and there are lots more. Do youre research and make youre own path. Health care professionals often know next to nothing bout supplements. All they know is what sticky plaster to put on what symptoms. Whenever i see them, i feel like im teaching them . The way i look at it, is that they say it takes yrs before you realise youve got parkinsons, so you cant expect turn things round fast. Get youre diet spot on, exercise, sleep and meditation, take all the supplements that you read up on that can help, then see what time can do:pray:
