Hello to all creative types,
We’d just like to let you know that we’re now accepting entries for this year’s Mervyn Peake Awards. Last year we received over 400 entries, many of which came from forum users, and we’d love for this to be even higher in 2013.
The awards are an opportunity for anyone with Parkinson’s, of any level of artistic ability, to share their creative passion.
There are 3 categories to enter – art, photography and poetry – and you can enter each of these once. The awards are judged by the son and dauhter of Mervyn Peake in memory of their father, and they award a prize to the winner of each category.
We’ll also invite all entrants to our awards reception in London in July 2013, where you’ll get a chance to see all the winning work and meet other creative individuals.
