I am now around 20 months post diagnosis and on the usual Sinamet and trihexipheydil.
These have left me with a dry sticky mouth. Any suggestions for overcoming this?
dehydration is very important with pd - levadopa makes you thirsty but also need lots of water to work well. drink plenty of water, chewing gum can help stimulate saliva. lack of saliva can cause teeth problems - keep hydrated. carbonated water may help more
