The maximum number of 1000 posts per topic has been reached. You cannot add another post

I am slightly confused because according to the number under my username I have posted in total 754 So how in the name of all that's holy can I have posted 1000 posts in the Cafe alone:confused:

I have had the same trouble over the last 6 months - every time I try to join in with a posting I get a red warning that my pass-word is incorrect. By the time I request another one, I haven't enough energy in my hands to type.

Glad to hear the Forum is going to be overhauled, could you give consideration to an easier log-in PLEASE?
I am pleased to see an announcement from PD UK of a new project for The Forum. When I started this thread I was hopeful that people would write down their thoughts and then Leyther started a thread asking why folk had left - to run along side mine. Over the last week I have sat here and wondered to myself at times, why did I bother - there has been quite a lot of detrimental and nasty personal comments made.

I sincerely hope that the project brings everyone together to build a forum which is welcoming, helpful and most of all supportive -as we are all trying to live with the same illness. I remember the day I was told I had PD and the vast array of emotions that hit me and the information on the internet was damn right frightening. This forum< I hope, will take some of that fear away to newly diagnosed folk by us old hands!

Thanks, once again, to all that contributed.

Breeze
Well said Breeze. As I have said before, when I went on the this forum's prototype I encountered PwP, who had had Parkinson's for a long time but were helpful and encouraging. Although Parkinson's had robbed them of some things they were still leading rich and productive lives themselves. I found them inspiring and they gave me hope after I had been in despair. I just hope that the forum, whilst not minimising the problems with having Parkinson's, can give hope that life can still be well worth living and still enjoyable and productive to all people affected by Parkinson's.
We are away at a Folk Festival at the moment, so replying to any posts or PMs will be difficult
Hi I joined the forum over 3 years ago when diagnosed and at first found it a port in a storm but soon found it be quite the opposite where often people appeared confrontational, aggressive, insulting and so on. I admit I did myself sometimes appear confrontational, I think this was down to the postings and the poor moderation. I now no longer post and only dipped in tonight to post about Vicki's tv appearance on Friday which PUK seem to have overlooked. I do hope the forum can be given an overhaul. best wishes, Carol
Carol
Parkinsons UK were not involved and were not asked to be involved. PUK contacted THIS MORNING to offer to attend but their request was rejected by this morning.
please see post sex, lies and parkinsons.
