Hi all,
Very recently diagnosed with Parkinsons and currently awaiting a DaTscan. Consulant prescribed 50g Madopar (3 times daily) then 125g after 3 weeks.
Medication has made zero difference to the tremor in my right hand - but side effects are fatigue and poor sleep.
Most significant side effect of Madopar is a constant ringing in ears, I’ve searched the forums (and used ChatGPT) with the common theme being that Madopar does not cause tinnitus.
It seems strange that it started when I began using Madopar. Has anyone suffered similar side effects?
