To Fusomide or not!

I am newly diagnosed with Early onset PD but before this I have been taking Water Tablets for my heart/blood pressure condition. I am concerned that my water output has increased and is encouraged by BOTH the medications. Should I stop taking my water pill as I am visiting the toilet two or three times every couple of hours and sometimes I am caught away from a facility!! Wetting your pants sounds funny in a sketch on TV but at 73 years of age it is embarrassing!

May be worth calling the Parkinson’s helpline ,They’re on 0808 800 0303 and always happy to help

Thank you Ill try it!

Talk to your GP. You can get urge inctinctnece as part of Parksinon’s disease. Furosemide won’t help this. THere may be an alternative tablet you can take or you may get referred to Urology for assessment and treatment. Well worth the effort.
