My father has PD and was diagnosed six years ago. He is starting to have balance problems and has lost a lot of muscle mass. I am thinking of getting a treadmill with long handrails. I think this would help strengthen his legs and improve coordination. He used to be a keen walker.
Would it be a good idea? If so, could you recommend any particular models?
