My husband started on 2mg a day of Ropinirole exactly a week ago due to just getting his diagnosis. The day after he took the first tablet his tremor in his right hand became much worse and still is. Now I understand this is a new drug going into his body and needs to get used to it but surely it should be helping the tremor rather than making it worse. Unless of course it is because it is a new drug going into his system and it has sent his movements into overdrive until it calms down. Did anyone else have this problem when starting Ropinirole?
