My dad is being treated for a UTI. Up until this diagnosis he had really been struggling with his mobility. I have heard off another person with Parkinsons that trying to fight off a UTI can really effect how the parkinsons medication works. It makes it less effective. Is this true. He is now on antibiotics and his mobility has improved over the last two days
We would strongly recommend getting in contact with our Parkinson’s professional with this one as they would be the best to give advice on this. We have a team of advisers via our confidential helpline who would be happy to help you with this, so do give us a call on 0808 800 0303 or email us at [email protected] Monday-Friday 9am -7pm.
