I wrote this poem on 2nd of May 2020. I’m not sure if this is the right place for it, but here goes anyway.
THE CORONAVIRUS AGE.
How will it be remembered, this Coronavirus?
where will it fit in the worlds history?
Where did it come from, where did it start?
the answer might for ever be a mystery.

How many people must pay with their lives
before a cure can be found and developed?
What will remain for the ones that survive,
of the world that this virus enveloped?

Must we forever remain two metres apart
every time we go to work or go shopping?
It can’t last forever can it this lockdown,
because already my brain’s started popping!

So hope a cure or a vaccine can be found,
sooner than later, if that can be done.
And lets all smile and cheer each other up,
hoping to survive and restart having fun.
