Vitamin B3 Nicotinamide riboside

Hi, I was diagnosed at the end of January and am interested in taking vitamin B3 in the form of Nicotinamide riboside for its possible slowing of progression effects.

Not sure what tablet as there seem to be different types, nicotinamide chloride, nicotinamide tartrate. Also with resveratrol and quercetin. I am planning on taking 250mg daily.

I am nervous about taking supplements.

Any information or comments gratefully received.

Many Thanks

Iso.

Hi Iso,

Yes vitamin B or Neurobion which is a combination of B1,B6 and B12.

B1(Thiamine), B6 (Pyridoxine) B12(Cyanocobalamin) seems to regenerate and nourish nerves.

It also does give you “a lift”.

I am not sure if you can get a Neurobion injection in the UK.

My Neuro also recommended I have a Vitamin E, capsule twice a day. 400iu

I hope that helps a bit.
