So it’s been 2 weeks since hubby had his datscan in the city hospital in Belfast. They told him at, the hospital he would have the results in 7 days. Its been 2 weeks and I know there is a lot going on with covid 19 but the waiting is awful. We just need to know either way. They also said he would be informed by letter. Anyone else waiting for results and getting really frustrated? It’s all I can think about.

If he is under a consultant it may be worth contacting their secretary to get a more realistic estimate of the time frame so that you are not constantly on edge, a call to your GP may also give you a better idea.

He rang yesterday and the scan hadn’t been looked at due to a back log. They couldn’t give us a time. Sorry just having a rant. I just hate seeing him worried. Thanks for the reply x
