What Has Helped You Most?

Hi everyone,

Thank you for the warm welcome to the community. I’ve been spending some time reading different discussions, and it’s clear there’s a lot of knowledge and support here.

I’m interested in learning about the everyday strategies that have made life a little easier for you or your loved one living with Parkinson’s. It could be a simple routine, a helpful tip, or something you wish you had known earlier.

Looking forward to hearing your experiences. Thanks in advance for sharing.

Hi Believer,
Welcome.
I suppose it would depend on how far you are in the “process” however in any event I find exercise is the one of the best things to slow down the progression.

Hi - exercise - sleep - diet & staying social

I’d second exercise. Also learning to relax to counteract the anxiety that I seem to get with the condition.

Yes anxiety can get on top - slow living - its hard to always achieve - but you have to listen to your mind & body
