What is dystonia?

Hello Tamsin . My husband eyes close involuntory , his mouth also drops open whatever he does to close it it falls open again . He drags his right foor which turns out and then rolls inwards . Is this Dystonia ?

Sorry for the delay. I just noticed your post. It's not clear from what you say whether your husband is experiencing dystonia though this can make your toes curl into a position like a claw.

Dystonia is defined in our information sheet as "a sustained, involuntary muscle contraction". It can affect different parts of the body.
