Who's gone through the DBS 12 hour challenge?

On the road to DBS, I’m doing the 12 hour dopamine challenge next week.

My neurologists have been pretty vague about what happens. Can anyone share with me what happens?

I did a similar challenge in the run up to my surgery but it was just me being off meds overnight and then doing a UPDRS test (memory tests and a couple of physical tests like stamping your feet etc, while off meds. I then repeated the test after being given my meds. Done by lunchtime :slight_smile:

Yes I have recently done these tests nothing to worry about
