It would be really useful if we had a system to alert Branch chairs that a newbie has arrived and that they might wish to join with like minded PWP's for exercise, meetings, outings and comradeship.
The data protection act will not allow PUK to alert the Branch committee when a PWP joins the charity. The only way we find new members is if they make the approach and that is the way it should be. However many newly diagnosed are unaware of the existence of Working Age groups.
