Parkinson’s UK are considering a programme which would give people newly diagnosed with Parkinson’s the opportunity to have a free genetic test. This test would tell people whether or not they have specific genes associated with Parkinson’s. Those who do may be eligible to take part in clinical trials that are aimed at targeting these genes.
We want to hear what people affected by Parkinson’s think of this idea and so we are hosting a workshop on 30 July. The workshop will be in Central London.
You can find more information here: workshop details. We will cover travel expenses for people attending.
If you are interested in attending please contact Natasha Ratcliffe by email ([email protected]) or phone (020 7963 9327).
