About the Symptoms Category

This forum is for you to discuss the symptoms of Parkinson’s, or find out if what you are experiencing is a symptom of Parkinson’s.

Knowing whether something is a symptom or a side effect of medication can be difficult - and you may find it helpful to ask about that here.

Hi, I have no idea how to use this forum or even how or where to ask the questions, sorry. I’m doing a bit of research for my sister to see if we can establish whether or not she might have PD . She has some very specific symptoms and I came across a forum from this site from 2015 in relation to pressure in the head and she is wanting to find out a bit more about these symptoms from people who are experiencing what she thinks is the same as she is experiencing. During the night if she gets up to go to the toilet she does not experience the pressure in her head. However when she gets out of bed in the morning and stands up the pressure is extreme until she lies down again. She’s wondering if other people are experiencing this sort of pressure in their head because it seems very strange to her that she doesn’t feel pressure during the night but only during the day. I hope someone might be able to respond to help out. thanks Pauline
