Hi
I have recently had DBS please can anyone tell me what the dvla say about driving
Thank you
Steph
I asked my consultant whether I was ok to drive when I went to my 4 week appointment and she said to wait until 6 weeks after the op. but then she phoned me a day later to say that she had checked and that there were no restrictions on driving so I was ok to drive after all.
Sorry to throw a damper on every ones experiences with DBs I underwent the op on the 7th July at Queens Medical Centre Nottingham, Only 10 month wait. I would be over the moon with the results on my PD symptoms. However I seem to be having problems with the leads the are tight and painful so much so that when I move my head they pull on the battery causing a sharp pain. I cant help thinking the same may be happening the other end (attached to my brain). I have high anxiety about it/ The PD nurses have said it is normal, but U look like Frankenstein’s monster, Has anyone else had experiences of this??? I am very worried but seem to be getting no where with the hospital. Please respond if this is normal
