ok i try that  first cheers

here is the story the Mirror ran today

http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/mother-who-mastectomy-chemotherapy-radiotherapy-3286049

like the bit about benefit street good on you so will they phone today !

We  will see if they phone me Gus , if not i will phone them  .....where i said IDS does not live on this planet i also said he needed to get his head from up his a**e  , but they can't print that , that poor woman with cancer not even had a assessment yet  terrible .

i know a lady who works for a back to work prrogram, and she had a lady who had 6 months to live & try and find her work.then on the other hand she had a boy who is on pot came there kicking off so they could not cope with him,he got put back on esa support group.

It is all wrong Gus , i think there using ESA as a excuse to get as many people into work as possible even those unfit for work but problem is there are no jobs so it is just another under handed way by the government to stop peoples benefits , healthy people have trouble getting jobs let alone sick/disabled people, my son has worked as a administrator for the NHS, the local council and more recently DWP  he is having trouble getting a job so what chance have the sick/disabled got . no chance and this government know it .

trouble is they still don't listen

Totally agree Gus ,

Not heard from DWP yet but i requested a copy of my assessment report  which arrived today

The report lists all the different sections for daily living and mobility and a tick next to which descriptor you have been put in

I have 27 points for daily living and 22 points for mobility , so just waiting on the decision from DWP now .

how many points do you need to get high mobility,& how many for care

just had a look & you need 12 points receive enhanced rate.SO YOU'VE DONE IT ! smile

I just phoned DWP they made a decision yesterday i have been awarded enhanced daily living and enhanced mobilty , at last , it is 12 points for high care and 12 points for high mobility  so i was way over on both ,

THAT SHOULD BE ALOT OF MONEY BACK DATED.THATS GOODS AS IM ONLY ON MIDDLE CARE.  & HIGH  MOBILITY.SO MAY BE PEOPLE WHO ARE REALLY  ILL MAY GET A BIT MORE WHEN DLA CHANGES TO PIP

Yes nearly £4000, yes certainly looks like it may favour people who are genuinely ill , obviously because pd is degenerative my award is for 3 years with a review then its not going to get any better at the best it will stay the same , i am just glad it is all over now .

glad you've won the battle.thats good your award is for 3yrs ,should be five i think thats fair for a degenerative disease.have a nice holiday !

Thanks Gus x

thank you, people like you make a difference for all of us with pd.thanks shelly
